Hello special friends! It’s yer ole pal Fat Guy with a much needed update! So much awesome stuff has been happening at Casa de Fat Guy and with our furry and not-so-furry friends. So, pull up a chair, pop some Uncle Willie’s or Orville or whoever and enjoy a fun-filled recap!

So, as most of you know, the fabulous news, Lady friend and I did something amazing….we professed our love for each other

AND….

Got a deep freezer! YAY!

AND…….

We have lots O’Meat!!

We got a side of beef and assorted items from a very affordable meat market in Brandenburg, KY. It is so tasty!

Ladyfriend and I on September 28, 2009 got engaged!!!

I am so romantic that I proposed to her in the O’Charley’s parking lot! (Ladyfriend is rolling her eyes right now.) Actually, it was very romantic!! It is the place we first saw each other and had our first date. I got down on one knee right in the first place I saw her. I said some sweet awesome things and she said YES!! We already knew we were going to get married and she already knew about the ring because we picked it out together, but still, it was an awesome day!! After the awesome proposal, which by the way was in front of a waiter standing outside on the phone with his boyfriend, (he was soooo excited) Ladyfriend unexpectedly (even though she knew she was getting proposed to) started crying like she had seen The Notebook again. It was like the flood waters had broken open. I thought she was upset, but she was just sooo happy!! That evening, since we are homebodies, we came home and Ladyfriend made Filet Minion, broccoli, and baked potatoes for dinner. It was the greatest dinner ever!!!!

Let’s seeeeee…..what else has happened since I lost blogged so many moons ago…..

I did a whole lot of cuddling with my furry babies!

and Conan and Deuce are the best of friends!

and Lil Bitty Kenny and I put out a corn feeder to attract deer to murder (well, that’s what Ladyfriend says…whatever!)

and….we also made a video which is posted on YouTube. Ladyfriend produced it. She chose the music and did all of the art direction. It is truly a masterpiece, as many of you already know. We hope it will be a hit…one day…sniff…sniff. Take a peek:

I also had a late class reunion here recently that we went to. It was a fun time at a local park in Shepherdsville. Fun for the whole family! Here’s some pics of my school friends!

One Saturday, Ladyfriend took pics of me sleeping and the process of the mysterious “Dog Crotch” Phenomenon. Let’s watch…..

Unsuspectingly, a tiny Chihuahua is searching for a way in under the covers…

Aha! Ladyfriend discovers that she found an entrance and burrowed under!

She is caught! Trying to burrow up under my belly in the “crotch” region.

Now, the tiny Chihuahua is also warm and snuggly.

We also started going to a new church about a month ago. We had been looking for a new church home and we love our new church family, Bethel United Methodist Church in Mt. Washington, KY. We will be getting married there on Oc tober 16, 2010!!! YAY!

Also, Ladyfriend joined the rest of the population in participating in the fun effects of the Swine Flu which include extreme body aches, diarrhea, vomiting, very high fever, dehydration, shortness of breath and lots of sweating and more pain…..

Needless to say, we made a trip to the hospital and Ladyfriend didn’t work for three days and went back to work on a Monday. It was pretty rough for her.

My buddy, Mike celebrated his 39th birthday on November 13th….Friday the 13th….creepy!!

Mike and his wife Della, Mike’s brother, Dave and his wife, Linda, Mike’s mom Jean (the sweetest little lady), me, Ladyfriend and a mutual friend of everyone, Dwayne all went to Olive Garden and had dinner and a tasty cake Della made! Della also gave Mike a corncob pipe for his birthday since he said he was old enough to smoke a pipe now. HAHA!

Hey there folks! It’s yer ole pal Fat Guy with a new blog post!

Football season is on full swing and Ladyfriend hates it. Don’t get me wrong, she likes a little football, but apparently I have worn out the sport for her. This is what she looks like most of the time because all I do is either watch ball games or get on Facebook and play Farmtown:

She’s just jealous because my farm is better than hers! Whatev!

So, we haven’t done too much lately except me watch football and Ladyfriend has been writing lots of stuff for her Literature class. Tinky has been doing a little clothes shopping though, maxing out her doggy credit cards:

This week was pretty rough. Apparently, when we brought Deuce into the house, he decided to also bring his fleas! We had to wash all the aminals, flea fog the house, and get them each some medicine. Here are some wet aminal pics:

A Note from the Desk of Tinky........

Hola, friends!! It's Tinks McTinkerton!!!!!!!

What's up?

I am chilling on my comfy bed while writing the blog this week because Fat Guy is too engrossed in new episodes of Swords on Discovery Channel and college football. Mommy doesn't hate this show as much as Deadliest Catch. She says she can deal with it.

He will be in frequent lounge mode watching other fat men in tight pants running to catch a very weird looking ball about the size of me!

Lately, we haven't done too much at our house. Daddy takes me across the street to spend time with my boyfriend, Pepper, the Shih Tzu. Pepper has anger management issues toward Rumpke garbage cans on wheels. Every time his daddy and mommy take the trash down for trash day, he freaks out. He barks at our trash can too or anything with wheels for that matter. He also hates fireworks.

Mommy was really busy all last month with her Legal Writing class so she didn't have much time to do anything. She still made time to spend time with me. We cuddle alot when she is watching TV and has a blanket on. I hide under it because I am always cold. Here are some pics of me with my friends cuddling with mommy. She was really tired and feeling bad, so we tried to cheer her up! She kinda hates this picture because she says she looks bad:

I mostly cuddle with daddy though, because he is really warm and fuzzy and I like to lay on his belly or shoulder.

Last weekend, Mommy and Daddy went to their friends' Mike and Della's house to help get rid of an old couch and some junk for the dump. They hung out with them all day and learned about Mike's dad's experiences in World War II and some of the interesting things he kept from the war. Very cool stuff! Mike and Della also came to visit mommy and daddy on Sunday and Della presented mommy with the infamous Canasta game that they saw at the Peddler's Mall in Frankfort in May! For a Canasta/Gangsta recap, check out this link: Canasta Madness from mommy and daddy's trip to Frankfort and Cincinnati.

It turns out, it was made by a student at some high school in 1950. Pretty neat. Mommy loves antiques and weird stuff. I don't have a picture of it, but the front looks like it says Gangsta, not Canasta, haha! Mommy and daddy had a fun Sunday cooking out at our house for Mike and Della and they also had a bonfire. Daddy took rocks from the creek, dug a circle in the backyard, and mommy helped him lay out the rocks in a circle. Check out the fire pit they made:

Daddy had alot of trouble with the fire because the wood may have been too wet, but the fire did work a little. The chair daddy is sitting in will soon be fire wood too. Mommy and daddy don't like it. HAHA!

Hey there, friends! It's yer ole pal Fat Guy here with a brand spankin' new blog update, new name, and a new look to our site!!

I would like everyone to welcome my newest furry friend, Deuce!
(round of applause and cheers.)

He is 4 months old and we got him through some friends of ours who knew a girl who fosters chihuahuas and kitties! Ladyfriend squealed when her dream of a whole flock of chihuahuas came true when she saw all those doggies running around the back yard!

Tnky: Help me? For goodness sakes, why did you bring home another dang animal?

Conan has found a new spot to chill out (laundry room shelf) away from the demands of kitten and chihuahua chasing.

This past weekend, not only did we go and get Deuce, but we also visited our friends, Mike and Della, who live in Frankfort, KY, who introduced us to the wonders of Mexican buffet. Ladyfriend thought it was the greatest place ever invented. They had chimichangas, really awesome pico de gallo, taquitos (they were so-so, but Ladyfriend loves these) and really tasty fajitas all on the buffet. We were sooo stuffed!!

After lunch, we all went to some nature preserve place/park that Mike wanted to show us. This is where he asked Della to marry him, by the waterfall. It's a beautiful place!

Ladyfriend said the waterfall made her feel all kissy. Awwww!

After our trip to the waterfall site, we went back to Mike and Della's house where we partook in some awesome dessert. I like to call the Apple Crisp Ladyfriend made, "Apple crack." It was amazing! I gave her the "look" I usually give when she makes something totally tasty, which is quite often:

Well, that's pretty much all we did this past weekend. Well, except for the fact that when we went to Walmart on Saturday, Ladyfriend showed me a Hula swimsuit for tiny dogs and I resonded with, "Oh that is soooo cuuute!" What has happened to me?

Yay! Pringles!!!

Howdy, friends!!! It's yer ole pal Fat Guy and I have the narco-sleepies (what we call extreme tiredness) and the scoop on what's been going on lately.

Let's see.....what has happened since our last post? So much! I don't remember....so....I will make a list!

1) We had a nice get together at the house with a bunch of friends and Ladyfriend made some awesome burgers and stuff! This was a few weeks ago.

2) Cassy, Ladyfriend's sister gave us a table for our house which is waaaaay better looking than the one we had before with mismatched chairs!

3) Ladyfriend officially is a resident of Kentucky....she got her Kentucky driver's license!!! Yay! Now if she could only get the moron's from Chase to get her title done that has taken over 2 months....that's a long long long story.

4) We had our buddies, Mike and Della stop by for a fun visit this past weekend and we enjoyed some tasty vittles Ladyfriend made: barbecued pork chops, baked potatoes, and sweet white corn all cooked on the grill. It was sooooo awesome! We all also went to Taylorsville Lake and walked around for awhile. Ladyfriend was mad because she forgot her camera! Tinkers also dressed up for the occasion:

RIP Gidget the Taco Bell dog.

Gidget was 15 years old when she died of a stroke while watching TV with her trainer on July 22. Ladyfriend was sad too. She loves the movie, Legally Blonde, and apparently in Legally Blonde 2, Bruiser (the Chihuahua) well, his mom was played by Gidget. Let's pour out some hot sauce for our dead Chihuahua homies. Peace.

5) Yesterday was Ladyfriend's birthday!!! YAY! She is 29 and not real happy about it. At least she isn't 30 yet! We had a nice dinner of ribeyes at home last night that I made her and she visited with her family all day because she didn't have class and took a vacation day from work. She had a relaxing day.

6) Ladyfriend was confronted with the elusive neighborhood skunk with a weird white spot on top of his head (like a monk) and no stripe. He was about 2 feet from her when she was taking Tinkers out for a walk. We had heard from our neighbor, Carol that there was one lurking near our house and I saw it one day and I tried to shoot it, but it got away in the empty lot next door. Ladyfriend saw it and ran. Luckily, the skunk ran away too, the other way. Afterward, Ladyfriend heard some rustling in the woods behind the house and saw two baby deer who she waved at. She waves at every animal she sees (except for skunks) even though animals don't understand what waving is. She also likes to talk to the Alpaca a few miles from the house that she sees on her way to work. Kinda weird! Anyway, I finally shot what I thought was the weirdo spotted skunk, but it turned out to be a different one. Ladyfriend's mom thinks his relatives (the skunk) will come back and get us with switchblades (actually Ladyfriend suggested this in a conversation with her mom) or they will spray our house with funky skunk juice. HAHAHA!

7) Ladyfriend and I both have been raising heck about our torn up property and lack of mulch and poor choice of tree(s) (well, one died) that were placed in our yard. We are mad because I paid enough money for this house and land that I should have the property fixed to my satisfaction, and it is not! Anyway, the General manager of Clayton homes is supposed to stop by this Friday to FINALLY address our jacked up land concerns. As you know, they also put down our landscaping before our water lines were installed. Really intelligent folks, huh? They also did virtually no grading and our property has so many humps and bumps that we have to pay a friend of ours with a tractor to mow it! Our house is comfy and beautiful, but we hate what they did to our land. What should we have to pay for new trees and more mulch that washed away when they dug the water trench? Also, our grass seed never took and we have patchy grass and tons of weeds. Here is a pic of our house at night:

8) Tinky has been eating human food lately. Ladyfriend said she would never give her human food, but we are trying to fatten that tiny dog up! I let her try a cut up burger and she loved it!! Since then, she has tried a little bit of sausage from pizza, some crust, ribeye, some biscuit, and her favorite snack, Pringles!!! She also learned how to do pirouettes for Pringles and also sit! Finally! A New Blog!

Hey there, folks! It's Captain Baldy (a.k.a. Fat Guy) with a much anticipated update to the blog! I know, it's been three weeks or so since I have posted! Ladyfriend and I have been so busy.

Where to start? Ladyfriend has been swamped with work and school and is really worn out, and somewhat stressed out, ALOT! I have just been working my booty off and Ladyfriend shaved my head after I decided it was less expensive to shave off all my hair and cooler too! Ladyfriend almost cried because she loves my long, flowing locks, heeeheeee, but she is getting used to it, and likes to rub and kiss my head!

We have slowly but surely been trying to get things bought still for the house and decorated and also finally got our jacked up yard somewhat fixed. A good friend of my family, Doug, came and mowed down all of our tall grass and did a little grading. He will probably come back and do some more grading since the ground was so hard and hadn't rained. We are finally starting to get bills, so that kind of stinks, but we have cut back and we don't eat out anymore and we we are doing our best to save (which is very hard when you first move in a home.)

We love our DVR!!! Ladyfriend tapes every scary ghost show on TV along with Dance Your A** Off, Burn Notice, Antiques Roadshow, Family Guy, and History Detectives. I DVR all kinds of things on Military Channel and shows about fishing, of course. Ladyfriend thinks that the Military Channel is coming between us. She HATES it. She says it is World War II all day long every day. We stay in two separate rooms watching TV most of the time because she says if she sees one more show about Hitler, D-Day or World War II strategies she will scream or hit me with my Machete, whichever comes first....HELP! Hahaha!

(I didn't do this, Ladyfriend has gone CRAAAAZY!)

Lately, we have had folks out to the house and cooked out, so now most of our friends have been out to see our new homestead! Lady friend is still continuing to work on projects for the house in her spare time and room by room.

Here are some things Ladyfriend has done for the kitchen. She printed out the pics in all the frames on the left and then decoupaged them, then framed them. Cheap and very cool looking! 3 of them are by theItalian poster artist, Leonetto Cappiello (1875-1942) who lived in France and made many French poster designs for restaurants and different ads. The ones on the right, were given to us by Cassy, Ladyfriend's sis, who also gave us a new table this weekend that is awesome! Sorry, no pics of that yet, but it is very cool looking! Our old table (in the pic) was my parent's first dining table and none of our chairs matched. lol. Ladyfriend sanded and painted all those chairs dark brown, because they were too light and very ugly. Now we have a matching set that looks great with the cabinets.

This is a random pic of my dad eyeing a sleepy Tinky who cuddled up behind him in the chair. He thought it was pretty funny to move, so she slid down off her spot. I don't think she liked it much, though.

Here are some beautiful sunsets we have been enjoying.....literally every night!

This field is where I loooove to pick wild blackberries! I loooove them!! Ladyfriend doesn't like blackberries, but she made me some blackberry cobbler this weekend for lil ole me and it was awesome!! (Thanks to Shelley, Ladyfriend's Twiight friend for the Quick Cobbler Recipe!)

Hey guys! It's Fat Guy again to update you on what's been going on in my life lately!

Here is a pictorial view (brought to you by Ladyfriend who took pics out her car window while rural buttheads rode her tail) of our lil neck of the woods and surrounding areas! Hopefully soon, she can capture some pics of deer near the house or on the way to work. She keeps trying, but they run off. They literally are by or on the road every day! The other day, we had a baby one in the woods behind the house! There is also a lama or alpaca/ pony farm on the way to work, but she hasn't been able to get a good pick of them. Maybe soon! Enjoy the pics!

We also had two trees, but with the "waiting for the inspector to check our water fiasco", and waiting to have the trench covered (due to tons of rain), we lost 1 tree. It died. Tears. We actually don't like these Weeping Cherry trees too much.

We're Finally In!!

Hey guys!!! It's Fat Guy again!! I am here to update you on the goings on of the Casa de Fat guy/Ladyfriend and our furry creatures!!

As you all may have read in the previous blog, it's been a very trying time for Ladyfriend and I with all of the hizzzouse drama. Last week, Ladyfriend had several meltdowns and so did I! She had finally had it, so on Thursday, after I repeatedly called the contractor, as well as general manager of Clayton homes every day not hearing the answers I wanted to hear, Ladyfriend looked up the 800 number for Clayton and got intouch with the Regional manager. She told him about all of our concerns and he handled every one of them! She told him how they never did the paperwork through planning and zoning which put us further behind because we couldn't have water or electric installed and how both the general manager of Clayton and the contractor kept this fact from us. (Apparently, there had been a previous contractor that royally screwed up things and he didn't get that paperwork done, so they had to pay alot of fines.) Also, our washer and dryer we were told would arrive with the house, but didn't, so we kept getting the run around about where it was and how it would get to us. We also of course, still had no electric, AC, or water, and no fence around our pond which is regulatory. It had also been raining alot, and by the way, still is. We have had pretty rough weather lately. They also put down landscaping, trees, and grass seed before our yard had been trenched to hook up the water. Lovely. Needless to say, Ladyfriend was very very ticked off and let them have it, but in a nice way, sort of. Within a half hour to an hour, the general manager of Clayton called her at work and was shocked that she called the regional manager. He said, "No one has ever called the regional manager on me and it is a very very BIG deal. I have and our store has never received a complaint." She told him that there was too much miscommunication about many aspects of the home building and we were not informed about many things. After a long talk, and wanting to ensure that they get a 10 on their survey when I fill out my paperwork, the general manager gave Ladyfriend his personal cell number, the cell number of the guy building the fence and hooking up the water, (so she could call him and have the water set up) and Blevins heating and Air was contacted and told to bring our AC and washer and dryer to our home the next day. Our electric was turned on earlier that day before more rain hit. So, we moved in while the water, AC, washer and dryer were being hooked up on Friday, June 12!!! We got pretty much everything moved in in one day with the help of our buddy, Brandon! We also got a free awesome couch a few weeks ago from his relatives, a free over-sized comfy chair, and we bought an entertainment center and 27" TV from his girlfriend, Nikki's relative. We had also gotten months ago, a free couch from Ladyfriend's mom, a free queen-sized super comfy pillow-top bed from my sister, a dresser, coffee table, CD player, and two end tables which cost $60 all together from Kenny (a friend of ours) & one of his relatives. We also just got an awesome stainless steel grill that just needs to be cleaned up a little from Kenny!! The move went pretty smooth despite all of the set backs and we are so happy with how everything is turning out (except we are poor right now, lol!) Here are some pics of our decor, so far....Ladyfriend says she still has a ton of work to do, so enjoy:

Lamp Ladyfriend repurposed for the Hunting/Fishing room

Notice the free couch and chair, and awesome cheap coffee table and end table in the pic below. The tiny brown silouette bird pillows were among the most expensive items in the room at $16 a piece. The sage pillows came from walmart and were probably $7 or so. The 3 tall candle holders and candles came from a yard sales and are home interior, regularly $59, Ladyfriend got them all for $15 at a yard sale. The 2 wall tins above them were $4.95 a piece through LTD. The bird pics in the corner were in a previous blog. Ladyfriend made those for very cheap. The candle holder with birds was a Big Lots special, don't remember the price, but it was $12 or less, the candle cost $6 or so, the old books were free, they are some Ladyfriend's papaw and grandpa both had.

The wrought iron clock seen above the $50 TV and entertainment center was free, as well as the wrought iron key holder by the door. (Both given to us by my mom.) The cube wall shelves in the corner were $5 for the two at a yard sale, but we bought some corner shelves too, that we haven't put up yet, so all together they made us a deal of $10. The curtains came with the home, of course. We picked those out. They need to be steamed, they are wrinkled.

Our frickin' expensive Walmart comforter set that didn't come with sheets or pillow cases. We realized this a week or so before we moved in, so Ladyfriend bought somewhat matching blue jersy knit sheets (they were cheaper and are soooo soft!) The 3 bridge pictures are a lil smallish for the room, so they may get moved to another area in the room. They were $10.95 for all of them through LTD. She hasn't even begun to decorate this room yet because there is so much to do!

Our two dressers that Ladyfriend is eventually going to add new pulls and knobs to and sand and paint to match each other. We also will get a ceiling fan for this room and put this fan elsewhere. Stay tuned for updates on this!

Small Bedroom. We haven't done a thing with this room except move the bookshelf in and put things we don't know what to do with in here. It will be Ladyfriend's mini art studio eventually.

Hunting/Fishing Room. It isn't finished yet, either. Ladyfriend has made a ton of fish pictures so far for it that we need to buy frames for. Notice the tree lamp she made in the corner. The couch was given to us by Ladyfriend's mom. It has recliners! Rug was free from my mom, and curtains $2 at yard sale. They need to be steamed too.

Rocking comfy chair we got from Kenny and decorative pillow that talks about treestands on one side (in another old blog) and camo on the other side. Stay tuned for updates on this room, as well. There will be more camo coming soon!

We have not hung our art for this room yet or decided what to put on top of the cabinets. Ivy is overrated! We also haven't steamed or ironed the curtains or table cloth. The chairs are also still at his parents house. They are going to be refinished also. Notice the free canisters that we ganked from the model home. Our salesperson let Ladyfriend have them because she liked them. That is the only cool thing Clayton has done. Our kitchen will have a "Paris coffee/cafe theme."

Hey there folks! It's yer pal Fat Guy here with an update on Casa de Fat guy and life in general!

Things have been extremely stressful for Ladyfriend and I. The house is still not ready yet and we are both at our wits end. Ladyfriend was so upset about everything yesterday that she finally called the contractor herself and asked what was up. (We were supposed to move in round mid to end of May, and that didn't happen. She found out yesterday that there have been two contractors working on the house and they didn't tell me. Apparently, the first contractor was a loser and was fired. The new contractor, the one we've been working with the whole time, told Ladyfriend that he was fixing an "error" with the house. Finally, she got it out of him that the previous contractor hadn't done any of the paperwork through planning and zoning and that's why we couldn't get the water and electric hooked up. So, these are the things we are waiting on for the house to be ready:

1) Electric
2) Water
3) A fence around the pond
4) The air conditioner
5) Trim touched up around door because it looks bad
6) Our washer and dryer that was supposed to have come with the house and apparently has been re-ordered 4-5 times because they are retarded.

We both are fried and so tired!! I had to move all of my stuff yesterday because my current roommate was being a jackass about me staying almost 2 weeks after the date I was supposed to move out and threatened me to pay him money, but he changed his mind after Ladyfriend and I moved all of my things out last night. I moved everything into the house and I am staying with Ladyfriend until the house is ready, so that was another stressful event. Ladyfriend has missed two classes this week and has a test on Thursday. She is cramming non-stop because she hasn't been able to concentrate on school with all the stress of the house. We both had melt-downs yesterday. Ladyfriend bawled her eyes out and I got sniffly and lip-quivery as well. I also puked my guts out from stress! Here's a hint to all my readers: BUY A HOME ALREADY BUILT!!!!

They did actually get some landscaping done over the weekend, the back porch torn down and replaced with the proper size, and the driveway, (which was put on the wrong side, last week, but Ladyfriend likes it) but we have no water to water our grass or trees, Here's a recent pic:

So, the waiting game continues on, and we are pooped and angry! Today the water and electric should be put in, at least the electric, but it has been pouring all day, so that probably won't happen either......BLAHHH! In the meantime, I will continue to look at "tools" for the house that Ladyfriend always seems to think are intended for her body, considering I have a large deep freeze for storing deer parts and I look at shovels, machetes, and axes at Walmart all the time. Hahahahha!

Ladyfriend is also racking her brain making awesome projects for the house and art. We took a trip to Old Tyme Pottery this weekend and she got some art for the large bathroom. We also took silly pics. Here is Ladyfriend pretending she is the Sham Wow winky-eye guy:

Fat Guy and the House Excitement!

Hey boys and girls!!! It is yer ole pal, Fat Guy!! Sorry I haven't had time to blog, it's been two weeks! Ladyfriend types for me a lot and she has been swamped with school, plus we didn't have any interesting pics to post last week. This week, Fat Guy is coming back strong!

So here is a quick summary of what you missed last week:

1) We went to Ladyfriend's dad's house for a cookout for

2) We went out to the future Casa de Fat Guy house to check on things. We discovered that they put the wrong porch on the back, it's supposed to be 8x8 or so. Lovely. It is being redone. Check out our landing-sized porch on the back:

3) Tinky learned to finally lay in her bed, although she's only done it a few times. She also got her cone off and stitches out!

5) This weekend, we visited the Casa De Fat guy to check out the status. I did the walk through last week, got my keys, and took Ladyfriend to look at our home!! I also took my parents out to see it and they really seemed to love it. It should be done this week and hopefully we will be moving in. Yes, Ladyfriend is coming with me because very soon there might be a ring on someone's finger? STAY TUNED! It's a secret.....shhh.

6) Also, this past weekend, we went to Horseshoe Casino (which is gay by the way) to graze at the Friday night Seafood Buffet. It was a little bit of a debacle. When we arrived at the counter to pay for our food, (you have to pay before you are seated), we waited at that counter for a good ten minutes or longer. The gal at the counter and a manager found it necessary to wait on everyone but us.

"Hey, I thought you wanted to go to the bank?"

"Well, where's the difference, anyway?

I finally said to the manager, "Hey, why is no one helping us?" and the guy was like, "Sir, we are required to take diamond card members ahead of non card members." This of course, infuriated Ladyfriend because she wanted to get her crab lags on. (She has an obsession with them.) She yells at him, "Do we need to have a gambling problem to be waited on here?" He said, "No, mam, you just have to have a diamond card." She yelled, "That's gay! That's just ridiculous, we have other things to do tonight besides waiting in this line." I agreed, considering all they had to do was take my debit card and swipe and we'd be basking in crabby goodness. Finally, after waiting on their last blue hair gambler (old folk who gambles alot), the girl behind the register took our money. The manager seated us an apologized again. Ladyfriend explained to him that we don't gamble and just wanted to eat and that I hadn't eaten all day. Which was true. Anyway, we ended up eating entirely waaaaay too many crab legs causing our bellies to emit some not-so-pleasant "issues." It was the best food ever though.

7) Sunday, we went to a cookout with our friends Nikki and Brandon and all sorts of other folks and their kids. It was a pretty nice day, but pretty hot. We had a good time, except Ladyfriend was hopped up on Zyrtec which made her super zonked out. She crashed in the car before the party (mini Zyrtec nap), after the party in the car, and also her home right after we got there.

Hey guys! It's your ole pal Fat Guy again with my weekly update! I have tons of pics from our fabulous weekend in Frankfort, KY and Newport, KY!!

Ladyfriend and I went to visit our friends, Mike and Della in Frankfort on Friday evening until Sunday evening. We all had a great time!!

Friday
Friday night Ladyfriend's mom had one of those Premiere jewelry parties/ bunco parties so I had to wait all alone in the computer room like a caged animal until it was over. I really wanted to spend time talking to everyone, but Ladyfriend said I was acting kind of rude since I said loud enough for the jewelry pusher to hear, "I can make all that stuff myself" and banished me to the computer room. Sniff. Sniff....tears. After Ladyfriend won third in bunco, some free jewelry and sunglasses, and bought a necklace, we left to hea to Frankfort.

Saturday
We woke up and had an awesome breakfast that Della made! We had homemade waffles, turkey sausage, and scrambled eggs. Yum! Mike had to get up early to go to Traffic school because he drives very dangerously, lol. So, it was just me, Ladyfriend and Della hanging out most of the day. We all went to the grocery to get things for a cookout, we went to the Peddler's Mall Flea Market, the Goodwill, and I got my hair cut. At the Peddler's Mall, I had a great time trying on military helmets.

Also, Ladyfriend saw an antique box sitting on a shelf that looked like it said, Gangsta on top. The print was very weird and hard to read. Della walked up and said, "I think it says Canista." Then, like a dummy, Ladyfriend realizes that it is an old Canasta game. HAHAHA! Della and Ladyfriend had a good laugh about it all weekend.

We also went to one of the greatest Mexican restaurants ever made, La Grande Fiesta in Frankfort. Even though they have a really scary mural on the wall when you walk in, it still didn't deter our thoughts on the awesome food. We thought the painting was rather funny actually:

After Mike came back from learning how to drive safer, Mike, Della, Ladyfriend and I hung out for a little while before going out again. We all sat out on the porch for a bit talking until Mike's lawn chair collapsed beneath him and Ladyfriend captured this pic:

We all decided to drive out to Taylorsville, KY to visit my Casa de Fat Guy!! It's close to being done! I will have my walk through tomorrow, methinks to see if I approve of everything, but I am sure that there will be some changes that the contractors will have to make. On our way to Taylorsville, we stopped to visit a mutual friend of mine and Mike's named Dwayne. He works at the Shelby County Firestation. Everyone thinks he looks like Quagmire from family guy. I think it was station 3 or so. Here are so pics Ladyfriend took, because she had never been in a firehouse:

On our way back from our trip to Taylorsville, Mike and I decided to take a different route back to Frankfort on these long, winding country roads and it made Della and Ladyfriend very nauseous. When we got back, I went straight to bed because I had an upset stomach and Ladyfriend, Mike and Della watched a little of Office Space before everyone got tired and went to bed.

Sunday
When woke up on Sunday, Della make us awesome breakfast again of turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, and banana muffins which were homemade! Around 9:30 AM or so, this other couple (Tony and Becky, methinks) and some other people that Ladyfriend and I don't know, but are friends with Mike and Della, showed up and we all left for Newport Aquarium. It was such a beautiful day! We stopped on the way there and had a picnic. Della made curry chicken salad which I spit out in the grass because I apparently don't like curry, lol, and Mike choked down too. Ladyfriend and Della loved it, but I guess they like weird food. Curry is Ladyfriend's fave spice.

After our crazy fun weekend, it kind of stunk going back to the real world. Tuesday night was busy too! Ladyfriend’s sister Cassy graduated from college again with a degree in Business. Yay! Before we left for her graduation, tragedy struck the McCoy household. Chip, (one of the many wild rabbits that frolic in the yard of the Ladyfriend) ran under Ladyfriend’s car. She saw Chip and knew not to hit him. However, Chip had a baby, (also named Chip) trotting behind it that was so small, the size of a hamster, that no one knew was there. I accidentally stepped on lil Chip and he went to bunny heaven. It was very tragic and confusing for all of us. Say a little prayer for Chip and the rest of the Chip family.

Tinky's Tough Times

Arrrr folks! It's yer ole pal Cap'n Fat Guy coming to you LIVE from Primitive Bullitt County with an exciting new blog update!

Things have been pretty wild lately! Tinky has had her fair share of hard knocks. Last Wednesday she had her last round of puppy vaccines at the vet and was made an appointment to be spayed this week. Later in the evening, around 9:30, 10:00ish, Ladyfriend noticed that her head had swelled up and her eyes were swelling shut. Ladyfriend freaked out! One of the vaccine's Tinky was given gave her an allergic reaction! The vet was luckily still open and her and her mom rushed Tinks to the vet. By the time they got there, she had huge hives all over her head and ears. She was kept overnight and given benadryl and cortisone and some other medicines as well as an oatmeal bath. She looked so miserable! Luckily, by the next day, she was fine and she came home all better!

Tuesday Tinky also had her appointment to be spayed. Ladyfriend was soooo scared because Tinks is so small. She is ok though, and Ladyfriend picked up our special lil feller yesterday!! Ladyfriend missed her. She cuddled with her all evening yesterday. Tinkers was so sleepy and Ladyfriend thinks whatever they fed her at the vet made her sick because she had bad doggy gas!! She also has bad fishy breath too. Yuck!Here are pics of her in her cone, it's so sad:

So here is what has been going on lately:

Ladyfriend hasn't had much time to type up a blog for me because her Business Ethics class is sucking up all her time! This past week and weekend I was on call, so I was really busy and pooped out, I didn't get to spend a whole lot of time with my furry homies and my Lady. Ladyfriend finished some awesome drawings of catfish for my Hunting/Fishing room for the new house. They look great. She needs to take some pictures of them and they will be uploaded in the future.

Last Saturday we went to check out the progress on my new hizzzouse!! They put the footer down last week. Here are some pics!

We are both so excited about the house! This week, I drove out and found out that they had placed the house down!!! Its still not complete, but it's finally there. I will have some pics soon, once I take Ladyfriend out to look at it! Soon the porches will be built and landscaping put down and it will be so awesommmmmeeeee! I will keep you all updated.

Ladyfriend also has been working on some excellent projects for the house besides the really cool fish drawings. A month ago she made these cut-outs from scrapbooking paper and an exacto-knife that she framed for our bird-themed living room! She will probably make a third for the series. They are very cool:

She repainted it brown and covered it in twigs to look like a tree and added a new lamp shade. It looks totally awesome! Check it out:

She still has to add some nice neat rows of glued twine to cover the tied twine up so it will be more like the twine wrapped around this smaller lamp:

She also bought some more decor stuff for the house like this pillow to go in my ugly comfy lounge chair in my Hunting/Fishing room (she got me the one that talks about tree stands, and it has break-up camo on the back!):

Sunday, when we went to visit my mom on Mother's Day in Taylorsville, Ladyfriend started painting on the dining room chairs we purchased from a thrift shop for my house. Here are the before and after shots of one chair:

Hello folks! It's Tinky! I just stopped by today to say Happy Cinco De Mayo!!! Welcome to my HUGE Cinco De Mayo PAAAARTTTTY! I have gathered all kinds of critters who LOVE Cinco De Mayo as much as I, to celebrate! So enjoy!!

Here's a little history of Cinco De Mayo:

The holiday is Mexican and it celebrates the victory of 4,000 Mexican soldiers against 8,000 French forces on the morning of May5, 1862. A common misconception is that Cinco de Mayo celebrates Mexico's Independence Day. That day is in fact September 16th.

Cinco de Mayo is not celebrated everywhere in Mexico (it's a regional holiday) but it is observed in America and in many countries around the world as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride.

The battle of Cinco de Mayo took place at the town of Puebla, 100 miles east of Mexico City. The French army attacked Mexico City, assuming that the Mexican army would surrender if their capital city was taken:

Under the command of Texas-born General Zaragosa, (and the cavalry under the command of Colonel Porfirio Diaz, later to be Mexico's president and dictator), the Mexicans awaited. Brightly dressed French Dragoons led the enemy columns. The Mexican Army was less stylish.

General Zaragosa ordered Colonel Diaz to take his cavalry, the best in the world, out to the French flanks. In response, the French did a most stupid thing; they sent their cavalry off to chase Diaz and his men, who proceeded to butcher them. The remaining French infantrymen charged the Mexican defenders through sloppy mud from a thunderstorm and through hundreds of head of stampeding cattle stirred up by Indians armed only with machetes.

The outnumbered Mexicans defeated the French army in a great victory. It had consequences for America as well because the French defeat denied Napolean III the opportunity to resupply the Confederate rebels for another year.

The battle was significant for at least these two reasons as well. One, the Mexicans, out-numbered and out-gunned, beat a French army that had not tasted defeat in 50 years. And two, this was the last time that an army from another continent invaded the Americas.

Lazy Derby Weekend

This weekend was a lazzzzy weekend! Well, after all of the manual labor we did at Ladyfriend's mom's house. I stayed over there all weekend to help in the yard and rip up carpet in the Living room. It was also the Kentucky Derby on Saturday!
Here are the weekend's highlights:

Friday

Ladyfriend and I went over to our friends, Kenny and Becky's hizzzouse. Kenny made some barbecued chicken breasts on the grill that would make your tongue jump out yo mouth and slap ya silly! In other words, it was pure awesomeness. He marinated it all day in buffalo sauce and then put his homemade barbecue sauce on it. We also watched the movie, Yes Man with Jim Carrey. It was funny and pretty nasty in some spots, and also a bit weird. Ladyfriend isn't sure if she liked it or not. The jury is still out on that one. Later, Ladyfriend and I went to the grocery to buy things for a cookout on Derby Day. We got all our stuff, and when we left the store, it was raining cats and dogs (and not of the little dog and ornage cat kind.) It was also frigid cold rain, yuck. We went back to Ladyfriend's house, put the food away, and went to sleepies, because the next day we had a ton of work to do in the yard.

Saturday

We got up early and Ladyfriend made breakfast for her mom, me, and herself! She made me what I call boyscout eggs, and what most people call eggs in a basket. See below.

She also made bacon, coffee for her and her mom, (Starbucks French roast, btw, I hate coffee!) Ladyfriend thinks that Starbucks Coffee is the Nectar of the Gods. She also loves their lemon tarts a whole lot!

We also had orange/pineapple juice, scrambled eggs and toast for her mom, and Ladyfriend also made french toast for herself and some for me because I am Fat Guy! (gotta keep up with the image.)

Afterward, I chopped down some trees and overgrowth in the backyard and Ladyfriend carried branches to the front yard for the trash. She also trimed a bush and cut down more overgrowth after I jacked up my back carrying things out to the trash too. Ladyfriend thinks I am a wuss. Sniff. Sniff. I really did hurt my back!

Later, we went and looked at bows at Chick's archery for my hunting needs nearby her house. We also went to the local farm stand to get veggies for the salad Ladyfriend was going to make. We also went to the bank and to GFS Marketplace where Ladyfriend experienced the wonders of buying large quantities of food and their quite tasty samples.

After we came home, Ladyfriend started cooked a most awesssssoooomeee dinner of grilled Country Style barbecued ribs (that she had been marinating in 3 kinds of bbq and a rub all day), corn on the cob, salad, baked beans and some watermelon. Ladyfriend's sister, Cassy came over and her boyfriend, Jordan too. They brought sodas and cookies. We had a great dinner and a good time. Cassy really got up on the corn big time! (She has a salt and butter issue that she may need professional help for.)

After dinner, we watching the Kentucky Derby where a 50-1 odds horse, Mine That Bird, came out of no where and one. They say that the jockey was Calvin Borel, but, in this picture, something looks not quite right...hmmm....I can't really put my finger on it, oh well.

Anyway, the Derby this year attracted such ho celebrities as: Kim Kardashian, Kid Rock, Paris Hilton and her ho boyfriend, as well as some cool ones including Brooke Shields, Larry Birkhead (Famous Baby Daddy), Eli Manning, Joey Fatone, Nick Lachey & Bro (if you like gay boy band music.)

After the Derby, Ladyfriend cleaned up the kitchen and konked out until the next morning! She slept like 10+ hours. She was pooped out from all the yard work and cooking and allergy problems. I fell asleep later after watching an hour or two of a World War II Documentary DVD I bought at Half Price Books.

Sunday

Sunday morning we went to Frisch's Big Boy in the C-Ville for some tasty vittles before I ripped up the carpet in Ladyfriend's mom's Living room. Below is a picture of me trying to eat Big Boy's burger. Mmmmmm.....

When we returned, I helped remove that pesky carpet. Ladyfriend got this great pic of me above in action.

Later, we pretty much wasted the day away watching 3-4 hours of Rose Red (a Stephen King Made-for-TV movie several years back on Sci Fi.) Ladyfriend had never seen it. She liked it.

We also reestablished our love of Domino's thin crust pizza. Here are some more pics of me hanging out with my buddies this weekend! Have a fantastic week!

Hey folks! Glad you all could stop by and hear about our fantastic weekend! Here's what happened in Fat Guy, a little dog, and an orange cat world......

Friday

Ladyfriend bought some more decor for the living room online on LTD while at work, shhhhhh. She got these cool hammered tin wall tiles all for $14.85, well, three, cuz she only wanted three. Green, light beige and brown.

Ladyfriend and I went out after work to pick up a few things from Walmart for the new Casa de Fat Guy. We also had some tasty Penn Station, Ladyfriend thinks their fries are from Heaven, even though she isn't too big on fries.

We also went to Half Price Books and looked around for awhile. Ladyfriend wanted to go home and rest for the night, so we went our separate ways. Ladyfriend konked out at her house watching TV, and later I ran out to get a new fan for my room, since mine broke. While I was out, I got called into work since I was on call. It really stunk. I didn't get home until 12:30 am. Yuck. So much for a relaxing Friday evening at home!

Saturday

I went and picked up Ladyfriend for brunch at the local Dennnnnaaaay's. She wasn't feeling very well and had a bad headache/stuffy nose from allergies. After that, she ran and picked up a pillow that she had ordered for the hizzzouse at the Post Office and then drug me into Jewel's House of Teas in Clarksville to pick up some Dream Goddess Oolong tea there. That is her favorite tea.

Finally, we ran out to my friend, Kenny's house to pick up an awesome coffee table and end table set that he had got from a relative for us. For the two end tables and the coffee table, I paid $60. Sweeet!

Plus, Kenny gave me a comfy chair that will go in the Fishing/Hunting room at the house. Ladyfriend said I can't put it in the Living Room because it's not "Living Room material." She thinks it's comfy but pretty ugly. It won't be ugly with some camo on it though! Yee haw! We also got an old dresser from Kenny that Ladyfriend is going to refinish and add new hardware too. She's so artsy. Later, we took our furniture finds and headed to Taylorsville, KY to my parent's house to drop it all off in their great big barn/garage.

We also picked up a watermelon at the fruit stand on the way, because Ladyfriend was hankering for some Watermelon. Turned out, the Watermelon was the highlight of the day. My two nieces Alexis and Emily, who were over at my parents house, had a blast eating and playing in it! They also enjoyed being flipped upside down and piggy-backing courtesy of Uncle Fat Guy.

My parents and my sister Amanda and her hubby were having a yard sale all weekend. Several people wanted to buy the coffee table/end tables we dropped off as soon as Ladyfriend and I drove up with them in the trunk!

Later, Ladyfriend and I went to an awesome barbecue place called, "The Shack in the Back" out in Fairdale. We highly recommend it's delicious awesomeness!! Ladyfriend thinks it's very rustic and cute because it looks like a log cabin on the inside.

We also did a little evening fishing with Kenny at his trailer park. They have a nice sized lake there where they had been having a tournament all day. We didn't catch a thing but huge bug bites!

Sunday

We made a stop at the local Shoney's out on Fern Valley Rd. Ladyfriend told me I am only allowed to have buffets on Sundays now, since I eat it too much and she hates buffets because she has no gallbladder and an icky stomach frequently. I agreed. My buffet problem has really spiraled out of control.

Later, we went to Ladyfriend's house and mowed her lawn and weed-eated. It was stinking hot!!We also helped her mom take some old clothes and things to the Thrift store, because she was doing some spring cleaning. We cooled down after and relaxed, having some more watermelon we bought at Walmart. It was Watermelon weather! We also spent time with my favorite furry friends and a couple other ones too!!

Later, we visited Ladyfriend's dad's house for a mini cook-out. He is a great cook! We had ribeyes, chicken, brats, weiners, baked beans, tato salad, and salad. It was awesome!! Casa De Fat Guy Update!

Ladyfriend and I would like to show you the future hizzzouse of Casa De Fat Guy and company!! It has finally come in, we just have to wait for it to be fixed up and set up. Here are a few pics to wet your whistle. I have also enclosed a few items we will have in the house!

These are only pics of the kitchen, the house is still in two pieces and not everything is ready yet. Ladyfriend couldn't get into the living room half to take pictures, it was too cluttered with curtains and wood.

The Karaoke King, Tinky's Big Day Out, and The Kitchen Strikes Again!!

Hello boys and girls! Fat guy has an incredible blog lined up for y'all this week! It'll knock your socks off!

Here's what happened in fat guy world this weekend:

Friday or the Karaoke King Strikes Again Day

First, I brought beautiful Tulips, Layfriend's favorite to her work to suprise her because she had a rough week being grumpy and all. Plus, I am totally sweet!

After Ladyfriend and I got off of work we went and hung out with a bunch of friends over at Phoenix Hill Tavern. Ladyfriend doesn't like bars very much but she ended up having a goofy fun time! My good friends Pete and Cyndi and go there every other weekend to blow off some steam. We finally got some time in between doing the house stuff to stop by and visit with them and some other friends there.

I got a lil silly and decided to Karaoke. I LOVE to Karaoke (just as much as buffffffettttsss!!!) I actually don't sing too bad. Ladyfriend wasn't embarrassed at my voice. I sung Bon Jovi's Dead or Alive, John Michael Montgomery's Sold, and the hit of the evening that really drew in the crowds, Dear Penis by Rodney Carrington, a very funny comedic song. You can look up the lyrics since we are keeping this blog family friendly and bleeping out Cyndi's boobie shirt. lol!

Saturday or the day of Anti-Thunder Awareness

I don't have any pictures from Saturday! Ladyfriend and I went shopping all day at flea markets and thrift shops, like she loves to do. We were trying to hide from Thunder Over Louisville and the crowds. One flea market scared her so bad (it was very ghetto) she held on to her purse like an old lady. We also both felt kinda sicky acid refluxy all weekend from eating chinese Friday night. It sucked!! We bought some chairs to go with a table Ladyfriend is refinishing for my new house. She likes to work on crafty projects, art, and fixer upper stuff. Here is a picture of a catfish, one of many, she is drawing for my fishin' room at my new house. It's not finished. It's pretty awesome, huh?

We also spent some time at my parents house this weekend in Taylorsville, KY. We were there dropping off the chairs we bought and a bunch of things we bought for the house like bathroom decor, kitchen towels, a comforter, pillows, and pots and pans. Later, we went to visit some friends of mine, Brandon and Nicki. We also went to the very tasty Waffle House.

Sunday or the Reckoning of the Kitchen and Phonebook throwing incident

As you can see, I struck the local buffet scene again with a vengence. Ladyfriend wasn't feeling too pleasant after eating this place because she thinks it's waaaay too greasy. The Kitchen in Shepherdsville, KY is an awesome place to eat if you like greasy spoon buffet style and people smoking everywhere. Ladyfriend does like their meatloaf and bacon there...but not at the same time. After breakfast, we went to Clarksville, IN to Ladyfriend's house and relaxed while watching Spiderman II on TV and picked up Little Dog (aka Tinky)!!! I love my lil' feller! We all went up to Bass Pro to watch the fishies eat with the tiny dog in tow. She was cold, so Ladyfriend dressed her in her black sweater/scarf combo.

We also took Tinks to Petsmart and got her a new harness and leash, she also got a bath when she got home.

Later, this Fat Guy asked Ladyfriend to order some pizza while we were lounging around the house. It was such an ordeal! Ladyfriend called Pizza Hut and got the slowest, dumbest person that worked there. She didn't understand which coupon we were using and would pause and write down things for at least 5 minutes in between talking to Ladyfriend. Ladyfriend also had to repeat my card number to her at least 4 to 5 times and she still didn't process the card right. Ladyfriend got sooooo mad that she hung up and spazzed out throwing the "User Friendly Notebook" that really isn't user friendly into the wall numerous times shredding it. I just sat back and laughed at her spazz attack.

Ladyfriend was also not very amused when I decided to "fumigate" her Corolla with a sewage scent that can only be described as an outhouse used by Satan himself.

Catfish Mama and the Extreme Orange Cat Spectacular!

Hello friends! I hope you are happy to see our new page design done by the fabulous Ladyfriend, aka "Catfish Mama", but we will get to her new nickname in a moment. We added some pretties in the background and a rustic look like Ladyfriend likes and also some music and a place for people who visit the blog frequently to become a "follower." I hope you all love it!

On to more pressing news.......

Ladyfriend and I had a very jam-packed fun-filled weekend.

Friday

Ladyfriend begged me to go with her to her friend's house waaaay out in Bardstown, KY for a little get-together. It was storming terrible that night and we were running late because Ladyfriend went crazy busy more stuff for my house and an outfit for Easter.

She hadn't seen her hilarious friend, Kristy in a looooong time. I had alot of fun talking to her fiance, Brett and another guy that was there. Ladyfriend chatted it up with Kristy and 3 other girls and left me in the garage with the guys where we talked about hunting and fishing and large lawn equipment.

Saturday

We awoke to a very beautiful sunny day filled with the hopes of a miraculous catch. Today was THE DAY of awesome fishing for Ladyfriend who has been learning to fish. We got up and went to meet with our friends Kenny and Becky for breakfast at their house. by the way, Kenny CAN COOK ANYTHING and it's AWESOME! We later loaded up our gear and headed off to an undisclosed location (haha) for a fun day of catching catfish. Ladyfriend was so excited because after about a half or to an hour of catching nothing, she find where the catfish were hiding and caught two big ones back to back! It was amazing to see her reel those big suckers in! Everyone at her work on Monday was calling her the "Catfish Mama" and saying how impressive those two fish were!

After our fun day of fishing, we basked in the allure of the Ponderosa, since I love BUFFETS! Ladyfriend wasn't too happy about eating buffet style again. I don't listen to her because I love BUFFFFEEEEETTTTSSSS! Later, we went to Ladyfriend's house where I slept on the couch so that I could go to church with her on Easter, since I live so far away from her.

Easter Sunday

Ladyfriend, Ladyfriend's mom, and I went to a new church. The new Southeast Christian Church Indiana Campus opened up in Jeffersonville, IN, not too far from her house. It was pretty cool, but I don't like big churches. She liked it alot and though she doesn't like huge churches, might go again. The music was very excellent and the sermon too. Afterward, we changed clothes and headed to Louisville to waste time before going to my parent's house for the day to visit. I dragged Ladyfriend once again to have buffet and she was definitely not a happy camper because later she felt like this:

Ladyfriend found this sign online. Apparently, it is a Old Nicaraguan Pharmacy sign advertising diarrhea medication for children. It's hilarious! She looked up the translation and it says:

"Diarrhea is very dangerous to give your child oral serum."

Weekend Fun with Fat Guy!

This weekend I was very busy! I am most weekends anymore. I didn't get to spend any time with my little critters, Little Dog and Orange Cat. I am a bad daddy. It's ok, I will see them tomorrow and I am very excited! So, here's what went on in Fat Guy's life this weekend and here are some new pics of some other critters too! Plus, I will add some pics of my usual special friends.

Friday:

Fat Guy spent time with his lovely Ladyfriend at a nice dinner at her favorite restaurant.

We also went and got Ladyfriend's new fishing pole and set it up so that she could go fishing with me Saturday morning/afternoon!

Later, we watched a great movie, Bedtime Stories with Adam Sandler in it with some friends. It is so awesome. Ladyfriend REALLY liked it.

Saturday:

Ladyfriend and I went fishing at a top secret location in Shepherdsville, KY. It's only for special people like us and family. Ladyfriend was keeping with the top secret locale by dressing double incognito! She thinks she looks a bit like Hunter S. Thompson minus the cigarette, although she had to explain to me who he was. What do you think?

I caught a 4 lb. catfish and a few tiny little blue gills. Ladyfriend caught two lil' fellers too. Not too bad for still just learning. Notice Sadie trying to lick my catfish! Sadie is Al's dog. Al owns the lake.

We fished all morning and into the afternoon with not much luck. We left around 1 or so to get some lunch and Ladyfriend konked out and had a good 2 hour nap. We met up later with My friend, Mike from Frankfort, KY, to show him where my new house will be! We went back in the early evening to try and find those hiding catfish, with no luck. :-(

Sunday:

Ladyfriend and I went to breakfast, looked at furniture for the new house, and then went to the Flea Market at the Kentucky Fair and Expo Center and strolled around for a few hours where I looked at tons of DVD's, barbecue sauce, knives, and fishing gear. Ladyfriend was bored and ran away to look at books.

Anyway, that's the extent of Fat Guy's incredible weekend!! Sorry I didn't do anything fun with the aminals this weekend. They live at Ladyfriend's house and I wasn't over there but for a little while. But, here are some pictures of all of us together last weekend and during the great rabid raccoon chase last week that occurred on Ladyfriend's street. A very large raccoon was loose in her neighborhood and we had to call animal control who did nothing, even though it bit and old lady on her arm and butt while she was running from it, crazy!

Future Casa de Fat Guy

So here we are again in our second week of our new website! Fat Guy has been very busy lately! He and Ladyfriend have been looking for land each weekend to put his new house on. After a very tiring search for several weekends, they stumbled upon a piece of land while looking at another less desirable plot up the road. Here are some pictures of the future Casa de Fat guy as taken from Ladyfriend's cell:

We are so excited to come live with Fat guy! Currently, Tinky and I, (Conan) live with Ladyfriend. We hope to one day live with Fat Guy because he loves us so much. Tinky will probably go to live with him soon anyway because Ladyfriend's mother doesn't like Tinky's poo incidents on the floor. She doesn't seem to want to be potty trained. It's ok though, Fat Guy loves little dogs....and orange cats!

This is so exciting! It's our very first blog all together!

We are going to share with you our story and our fun times together throughout each week!

Who we are:

Fat Guy: Brian or Daddy

His hobbies are Fishing, bonfire parties and cookouts, spending time with his lady friend, hunting, eating at buffets, and cuddling with tiny dogs and orange cats.

Chihuahua: Tinky, Stinky or Schmelly, whichever you prefer to call her. She is 7 months old and 3.3 lbs.!

Her hobbies are snuggling with Daddy (aka Brian) around his neck, biting cats ears, pooping where she shouldn't, dragging things out of rooms into the middle of the hallway and dining room (bras, underwear, shoes, duster), sleeping under the covers with mommy at her house.

Orange Cat: Conan O'Brien, Conan, Baby Conan, Co Co, or Co Co Butt.

His hobbies are pretending Tinky isn't around, puking up everything he eats, stockpiling anything that looks like a rubberband, twist tie or milk ring, playing with pieces of plastic off of anything, and laying in the middle of the floor showing his non-existent bits and pieces while you tell him he's a pretty boy!

I hope you will enjoy our adventures each week or when our mommy has time to type! We love to hang out and cuddle and hope you will love us too!!
